is this sound dock compatible with a classic 30GB? There is no insert for the dock to

Bose SoundDock II has an audio input, and you can connect iPad with it [Phono to phono cable - connecting from the headphone jack of iPad to the AUX input behind the SoundDock II]. But SoundDock Series I doesn't have an input jack.
