Compatible with OS 7 Lion?

    I had no problem with it on Lion. However, it seems it has a limit on the area it can scan based on the resolution that is selected. And that makes sense since if you scan something like 8.5 x 11 document/photograph at 9600 dpi you wind up with a file too large for many computers/software to handle any way. I don't think that is a Lion issue. It would be nice if the error message would actually tell the user that the selected area and resolution is too large for the scanner!

  • Thanks for the answer. It makes sense. Workaround that I found for the particular 8.5x11" page I was scanning. Tho' counterintuitive (to me), I put the page in 'backwards', top on the side AWAY from the Buttons. Got a complete copy. Don't know if it wd wrk w/ legal sized papers, etc., - Kathy
