how does the iPod classic (80 GB) get into the case? Is there an opening at the top with a flap that has a velcro closure like the old ones?

    The plastic cover and silicone part are separated. You slip the iPod through the screen opening, then place the plastic cover over the top. It's difficult to get the iPod in and out, but it's super sealed against the elements this way!
