does this work with the I phone 5

No. There is an adapter for the 5 but apparently it's only charging the phone on the Bose and not playing music.

It will work! you need a 30-pin to a lighting cable and this will plug in your iPhone 5 and charge and play music, will work with Bose remote also. I also bought a 4' 30-pin male to a 30-pin female cable to use as on extension so i could use my phone while it was charging works great
