Are these good for djing? Do they block noise effectively?

They are great for dj'ing, that's about it though. I use mine for dj'ing only as they are useless to listen to music privatly as they bleed so much noise.

Yes they are, they have noise cancelling and you can turn them up really loud. Also, they are very stylish
