Regarding DirecTV: Can we get the program guide of DirecTV through eyeTV? I am wanting to select programs in advance to record.

If you use DirecTV, Dish Network, or virtually any other set top box SerialChannelIR is an option using EyeTV to control the box. SerialChannelIR is a Universal IR Blaster solution for EyeTV designed to work with usb-uirt to translate your EyeTV channel change request into ir sequences which are sent to your device.
