Apogee Duet FireWire Audio Interface

MIDI i/o? Apparently thru USB only? New iMacs have Firewire 800 - is that supported? w/MIDI?

  • Most MIDI interfaces use USB for connection .
    There is some audio interfaces that connect via firewire that include Audio & MIDI connection in the one interface box .
    If you want MIDI connection it is best to add an external USB MIDI interface , which are cheap ( under $100 ) & connect to the USB port .
