If I want to install Office for Mac, do I need to also install Bootcamp or Parralles?
All my work partners are in MS Office - I have a MACBook Pro. The MAC rep suggested I try Parallels then installing Windows XP, then Outlook - I got as far as the Parrallels and XP but (for me) it was to cumbersome. So I un-installed all of it and looked up Bootcamp.
I need to work in Outlook and Word - so If I get Office for MAC do I need to use Bootcamp or Parralles in order to make it all work?
Thanks for the help.

"Office for Mac" is Mac software, not Windows software, so no, you don't need Bootcamp/Parallels/Fusion.
I use a Mac while 99% of my clients use Windows-based PCs. I share Word/Excel/Powerpoint files with them without any trouble.
There is no Outlook in Office for Mac, the equivalent program is Entourage, but this shouldn't matter to you at work.- Answered by PE from Mississauga
