NO, Not the USB connection but what you can do is if your using component cables or HDMI, is to buy an RCA to the 3.5mm headphone jack cable. Then connect the RCA cables to the Audio output of the components and plug the other end into the AUX port of the control pod. Change the sound output in your PS3 settings and they'll work fine.

  • No, these speakers will not connect to a PS3, as the PS3 does not utilise a MIDI interface through the USB ports.

  • Lol this system will connect to a ps3 just not through a USB set up, you will need to set the ps3 to route audio from the AV cable then with a audio splitter that accepts L & R signals plug that in then on the other end of splitter needs to be a headphone jack then grab yourself an aux cable and slip it into the splitter into the audio input of the companions control pod...and it sounds immense! and you still get that faux 5.1 experiance.

  • No is the short answer. I asked in the shop when purchasing and they said yes but on trying it at home I could not get it to work. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I don't believe so. Otherwise the system is fantastic and I have it connected to a mac mini.
