Is it compatible with newest MacBook Air?

My white Apple remote already works with my MacBook Pro and my iPad. Looking for something that works with new MacBook Air, PoerPoint, and Keynote

  • NO! I just bought a MacBook Air, circa 2013 and there is NO infrared port! I too am trying to run a Keynote presentation and what a pain in the you know where having to go back to the laptop to manually change each slide. I wish I would have asked the Apple Genius if the Air offered infrared remote control. I wouldn't have bought the machine had I known that this feature was absent. Nice move Apple.
