Would these speakers be good to plug into a MacBook Air and move around different rooms to listen to music on?

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that, but if you mean going into different rooms and trying to take the speakers with you that wouldn't work as they need to be plugged into a powerpoint, and don't take batteries. If you mean leaving them in one room whilst you go into another, sure that'll work. They sound great, even at their highest volume, so long as you are listening to decent quality audio.
