How do you hook up the bose companion 2 series ll to a mac ?

The one I bought included a cable which plugs into the headphone socket on an iMac and into the back of the speakers. (If you want to listen to headphones there's a headphone socket on the front of one of the speakers.) So it's all in the box already.

you buy an audio cable if you dont already have one. They usually have the red and white plugs on one end, and a headphone jack on the other. you plug the red and white into the appropriate ports on the speaker, and then the headphone jack on the audio in port or your headphone plug. then start playing music and enjoy!

Connect the 3.5 mm jack to your mac, then plug the RCA end(s) into the Bose speaker. (Red and White) Then plug the power adapter. That's about it.
