Are these suitable to boost macbook pro audio in a classroom?

I'm looking for good speakers that don't cost a fortune to boost audio for use with training groups in a classroom setting (between 10-25 people), e.g. to show a video and to play music.

I intend to use them with my macbook pro and maybe iPad2 also. Has anyone used them for this purpose and if so how are they? Thanks

    That depends upon the size of the room but I recommend something a little bit larger for a classroom.
