How do I get to the end product?

I feel I have a good understanding of how to create the cover I want for my iDVD movie. However, how do I get it onto the DVD? Am I able to burn the image directly or do I need to get DVD labels. Are they any available for a HP photosmart 7260 printer, or do I need a special printer?

  • There are several ways to get your design created in Disc Cover onto a DVD. First, you can print it on an adhesive label, then stick the label to a disc. The program supports most common label papers, including Avery and other. You will be able to print on these labels with HP photosmart 7260 printer. You can use label applicator for more smooth application.

Secondly, you may use printable discs to print your design directly on them. For this you will need a printer with direct-on-disc printing feature, unfortunately your HP photosmart 7260 printer doesn't have this capability.

Finally, you can laser etch your designs using LightScribe or Labeflash technologies. For this special drive and media is required.
