can you use this case with the logitech keyboard? doesn't the keyboard clip to the side of the iPad? will this case allow that?

i want to purchase the ipad air and love the look of this all-around casing. i also want to purchase the logitech ultrathin keyboard but i think that the keyboard actually latches itself, with magnets, to the side of the iPad. would i have to remove this entire case if i wanted to use the ipad with this case and keyboard?

Yes, you can. I have the logitech keyboard for the iPad 3, and the iPad Air fits perfectly whilst in the case. The iPad doesn't fit at all when not in the cast, and Logitech have released a new keyboard for the Air. But, i prefer the old keyboard, as it lets me keep the Air in its case :)

PS. The iPad Air in the case doesn't magnetically 'click' into position as the iPad 3 did, but it is still completely secure in the keyboard. I've been using for days and have had no issues, plus it's clear that the keyboard is not damaging the case in any way.

  • You cannot use that keyboard with this case. You'll need one of the click-on back covers/cases that allow for use of the Smart Cover and keyboards.
