How do you stand up an iPad mini in portrait?

It appears that the smart cover would not work in portrait as a stand.

    Unfortunately you technically cannot do that, only in landscape

  • You would need to purchase a case that would allow you to stand up the iPad mini in portrait mode. The smart cover will only allow you to stand it up in landscape mode.

  • Unfortunately, you cannot use iPad mini Smart Cover as a portrait stand. However, most apps run land space and it is easier to type in land space so that is the way I most often use iPad.
