Does this come with the long extension cable the 10w charger came with?

    No it doesn't just the adapter (aka brick). The older 10W was $10 (on Apple's site) more but came with the 6ft cord AND a USB to 30 pin dock connector cable. The Apple Store doesn't seem to list the 6ft cable as an item that can be purchased no its own.

  • No. Since the "What's in the box" only displays the Apple 12W USB Power Adapter.

  • Sadly no. I got off from a chat with Apple Support

    Me: "im asking if the long power cord is included in the package"

    Support : "It will only come with the adapter that you can see on our website."

    Me: "Is it possible for you to check if Apple will be releasing the 12W adapter with the long power cord in the future?"

    Support "I am sorry. As of the moment we do not have news if and when we will be releasing a 12W adapter with power cord."
