What about iPod Shuffle 3 gen support? I wonder if volume up/down and play/pause would work or not? No iPod Shuffle 3gen in the list.

    The EarPods only reproduce audio with the iPod shuffle 3rd gen, the in-line controls don't work at all.

    The Apple Store page is correct to leave it out, but in the EarPods manual it wrongly says they do work. Sound only.

  • They don't work. Sound yes. But remote no. And there is no point using this shuffle without the remote.
