Is there a support/driver/software so that I'm able to control volume directly from EarPod's remote/mic on Window Laptop/Desktop?

It depends what model (laptop / desktop ) of course Windows version as well.

Does the included control cable have Volume Up/Down. The older version did not have volume controls. The second cable is a straight not control cable
