Is there a lead I can plug my dictaphone to my ipad

depends on the connnection but at the moment no many free apps that let you record audio on the ipad the only socket there is the headphone at the top

maybe use that as long as the headphones have a mic and on the part that goes into the ipad it has 3 rings like headphones with mic
