if this is 3rd gen retina iPad or older and you want a Cable you will need the 30pin cable to DVI/VGA/HDMI (whatever your projector supports)
if this is a newer (4th gen) ipad with Lightning you can get a lighting to HDMI adapter but it would be way easier to buy Apple TV and connect that to wifi and the projector then connect your iPad to same Wifi and use the air play mirroring you can do using ipad/iphone and Apple TV- Answered by Michael P from Calgary
