Will this Lightning to 30 Pin adapter work with 2012 Audi Q5's car chargers/dock that was compatible with iPhones 4/4S?

    Purchased the Lightning 30 pin adapter to use with iPhone 5 and Audi A4 2010 with the AMI cable (previously iPhone 4 which connected direct to the AMI cable). Everything functions as before, only had one problem when driving over very rough terrain, the connection came loose, pushed back and all was okay.

  • I have a 2012 Audi A5 and the adapter doesn't not work through my AMI, Audi say it should do but i cant seem to make it work. Audi asked me to bring the car in as the problem may be with the AMI. However it works fine with my iPhone 4.
