Does this adapter work with Alpine car stereos?

Alpine car stereos are some of the most widely used 30 pin connector car stereos. Does anyone know if this connector works with the alpine 30 pin connector? Can you control the iphone from the stereo like you can with the 30 pin?

    I ended up picking up one of these yesterday. And am happy to confirm that they do in fact work with the Alpine stereo 30 pin connector. I am able to play/payse and fast forward and rewind through the stereo.

  • I have a JVC 30 pin. Bought lightning adapter for iphone5, but cannot get GPS video to view on it. Got audio though. I was told I need an digital to analog adapter that as far as I know is not available yet
