  • YES, The SD Card Reader DOES Function through this adapter for me! I cant find my USB Adapter at the moment, but i assume it would work also, The only thing that doesnt seem to work is SOME car stereos and ALL video-out.

    I confirm the yes answer. I am looking at my iPad Mini with the SD card adapter plugged in to the 30 pin adapter and it immediately recognises that there are pictures on the SD card and offers to import them.

  • It does for me. It works on the iPad mini.
    Only issue is I have to use a shorter USB cable for my camera.
