Can I use this to transfer 1080p video from iPhone 5 to iPad?
Again, I want to transfer 1080p video I take on my iPhone 5 to my iPad so I can edit it in iMovie. I prefer the larger screen for projects like video editing.

Answer
Yup. I was able to connect my iPhone 5 as the "camera" to the adapter and was able to transfer camera roll photos and videos from the iPhone to the iPad (4th gen).

It should; the iPhone 5 is no different to any other digital camera in this situation. However, you will not be able to sync/transfer/view content from your iTunes, Movies, etc from your iPhone on the iPad, only things from the camera.
