    Yes, the Apple-branded Lightning to Micro USB Adapter will fit into the charging port of the LifeProof "fre" case for the iPhone 5.

    Unlike the LifeProof case for iPhone 4, which had no room what-so-ever for most aftermarket 30-pin connectors, the new iPhone 5 case's charging port slot has quite a bit more room to spare when connecting the Lightning to Micro USB Adapter.
