Will the Smart Case be compatible with the newest version of the iPad being launched on Nov 2? What about the lightning cable cutout?

    Yes, it is compatable with the iPad 4. The case is made for the 30 pin connector, but it will fit the iPad 4 with the lightning cable with some of the metal showing. Hope this helps.
