Is this case and all the features compatible with I pad with Retina? Does the on and off technology work with iPad with retina? If not which cases do.

Yes, the case is compatible with the 3rd gen iPad and the 4th gen iPad, which both have the retina display. And yes, the automatic sleep/wake works with the retina display.
