  • Unfortunately, no. The Super Drive only supports the current
    Mac Mini, MacBook Air and MacBook Pro with Retina Display

  • No. The only way USB can connect to the iPad is with the Camera Connection Kit, and that doesn't support anything but cameras and camcorders. There is no use for it anyway, the iPad doesn't use discs.
