Are there magnets to hold the flap closed across the screen?

    Yes when the flap is closed over the screen there is a magnet to hold it closed as well as turn off the iPad if you have it set for that.

  • On the iPad 2, and The New iPad, the Smart Cover is held in place by a magnet on the left hand side (aluminum), and on the right hand side (glass), so it doesn't flop around.
