Does the product alter the thermal tolerances for the iPad?
The back of the iPad seems to act as a bit of a heat sink and the new iPad generates more heat than previous models, so I'd like to know if using the case lowers that ambient operating temperatures.

I have a leather smart cover and an Incase non slip back. It hardly, if at all alters the temperature of the tablet. I imagine the same will apply for this case as well. You should be fine. :)
