what is the difference between the smart cover and the smart case?

    Smart Cover is only to protect the front side of iPad but Smart Case protect the whole unit.

  • The smart cover does not cover the back of the iPad, just the screen. The case covers the back as well.

  • The Smart Case covers the back as well as the front, and only comes in Polyurethane.

  • The difference between a Smart Cover and a smart case are not that different.
    The SmartCcase is pretty much the same as a Smart Case except there is a back that is connected to the front, and the Smart Cover only has a front. You can still turn your ipad "on and off" with a setting on the ipad.
