how many user can log on the internet?
some time the TC does not let people get on line, not sure why?
I was wondering if there is a max on how many people can get on?

50 simultaneous users. Remember, this would include iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches, etc. so you should use password protection, or others might access your network and crowd you out before you know what has happened.
Might it be that the Time Capsule was setup using AirPort Utility>AirPort>Access Control to be available only during limited hours, or to limited devices?
Those attempting to log onto the network must always use the correct network name, network security method, and network password, exactly the same as everyone else on the network is using.
If someone is trying to connect from outside the Time Capsule's broadcast range, or just on the edge of it, that might be the cause of failure to connect.- Answered by Andrew H from Carmel
