Apple uses a Marketing Part Number (MPN) code to classify all of its items in a unique way. Hardware usually follows the M####LL/A format.
The package in a store should indicate the MPN and one way to determine what MPN to look for is to go to the online Apple Store and add it to your cart — the MPN will then be displayed, after which you can remove that item from your cart.- Answered by Alan E from Madrid
