Use TC with wired network on an Ethernet switch to add wireless network?
I have Comcast cable modem internet service which I run from the outside into a wired router. Can I plug the TC into an Ethernet switch so I can have a wired/wireless network? Do I need to do any special configuration?

Answer
That's more or less exactly what I do, works fine, picks up the internet connection automatically.

Yes, just plug your modem into the Time Capsule to give you wired/wireless connectivity. The TC has 4 1Gb Ethernet ports built in, but you could extend that with another switch if you need more 4 wired ports. The TC is an all-in-one 4-port switch, dual-band 802.11n access point, and NAS (Network Attached Storage) device that can be used for back ups and media storage.
