    Yes, I have been using Airport Extreme with a HP Officejet Pro8500 Wireless for over a year and it works perfectly. We have 2 iMacs that use it wirelessly on a constant basis.

  • DO NOT UPGRADE TO 10.8 when using this are your main printer. I just spent an hour or two on the phone with HP to find out that they will no loger update their drivers to work with this model - then they tried to up sell a brand new printer?
