I have several Macs and PCs at home but no internet connection. Will Time Capsule allow them to share the disk wirelessly for backup/file transfer?

Yes. Even if you have no internet connection, the wireless drive functions will still work. This means, you can back up, connect and share to the Time Capsule wirelessly, and print wirelessly. The only thing you cannot have is a wireless or wired internet connection (because you have no ISP). Macs and PC's can connect to it, read, edit, and publish files to the drive.

Yes it will allow you to share all data that is on there with any computer that can and you permit access to that drive. You will be required to enter a password and secure your data.
