Hi AM, Yes you can use the Time Capsule to store any type of file, therefore your 'video' files. However to watch them on your TV, you would need a computer of some sort (whether that be a Mac, Apple TV or PC) connected to your TV and communicating to the Time Capsule.
For example, I use iTunes to store all my audio, podcasts, Movies & TV shows I have copied or bought using iTunes Store. I play it all on my TV using Apple TV. As I have a lot of audio & movies, my Itunes Library is too large to fit on any one computer, so it is all stored on my Time Capsule. For redundancy, I copy my iTunes library to a backup drive every so often. Cheers- Answered by Ross O from Surry Hills
