Can I access the hard drive on the TC through the USB and not the wireless connection in the event of wireless problems?

    I don't think the USB can be used this way. But this is also a wired router (3 ports). You can always plug an Ethernet cable into the Time Capsule to get at your data that way.

  • You can simply unplug the USB drive from the TC and plug into whatever system that needs the files from it.
