will airport extreme extend the reach of another wireless router
i have a DLink wireless router hooked up to my Imac in my home. My mac book pro picks up a weak signal from my office next door. So do I have this right? The Airport Extreme will receive that signal and then boost it to enable my laptop and I pod touch to get a now stronger signal, possibly even further away? And then I can plug a printer and harddriive into the Extreme to be used by those connected at either location??? And then I can pick up XM Satellite radio channel from my Dish Network TV in my home?? If so, wow!
THanks

You will need to configure your Airport base station to extend the existing WiFi network (rather than just join it). Just follow the prompts in the Airport Utility software.
Satellite radio/tv are something altogether different, and generally have nothing to do with WiFi.- Answered by Kenneth D from Ottawa
