using mac pro/10.6.3 with( att sp) westell wirespeed DSL (10 yr old modem) is this compatible with Airport express need to set up wi-fi for ipad

    Yes your setup is compatible for use with ipad, although I would advise that you buy a new modem because replacing your modem could improve internet performance,because ten years is old for computer equipment, and the technology may have changed by now.
