is an Apple TV wireless or do you have to hook it up to a modem or use an ethernet cord?

I am considering purchase of an Apple TV
My TV set is in another room from my iMac.
How do I hook it up?

    the apple tv is wireless, though you can connect it via ethernet if you want.

  • Just plug it in and away you go easy thats it!
    But you can plug a ethernet cable into the back of the apple tv but you don't have to has it is wifi! just set up home sharing on the apple tv and you will be able to stream your iTunes content from your mac or pc (just make sure that you tick the box in iTunes prefrences sharing).
    If you have got a iPhone iPad or iPod touch you can stream content of these to your apple tv too.
    Plus theres you tube net flix photo stream and more!
