If I connect 2 External USB drives through a usb hub to the Airport Extreme can I set them up as a RAID 0 from my Macbook Disk Utility to show as 1?

I want to connect two 1TB Western Digital Drives through a usb hub to the airport extereme and SOFTWARE Raid them together using Disk Utility. So once complete it will look like the airport extreme only has a single 1 tb drive attached even though it's 1 tb mirrored with Raid 0.

  • The AirPort Extreme (802.11n) and Time Capsule work with most disks that are not software RAID volumes (no more than one volume per physical disk). If the disk is a self-contained RAID that presents itself to a computer as a single volume requiring no software support, then it may be supported.
