I have a dinosaur router 802.11b. It takes 12 hrs. to download a movie on Apple TV, I have DSL, will this speed up download time?
It takes forever and I was hoping it would operate in like a few minutes like my friend's does.

Answer
It definitely would speed up the download time. I'll try to explain... Wireless B utilizes speed up to 11 Mbps. The Airport Extreme and Apple TV have Wireless N technology built in. With Wireless N you can get speeds of up to 300 Mbps.

You should be able to hook up to the cable modem, toss the dinosaur, and be good to go!
