How fast is the airport extreme in terms of mbps?

These are what my tests have shown.
Ethernet = 1 Gbps
Wireless G, Wireless N (2.4 GHz) = 130 Mbps
Wireless N (5 GHz) = 300 Mbps
However, it really depends on the bandwidth coming into the router that makes these speeds attainable... The data rate you receive from your ISP affects the real speeds you can utilize. You will usually get about 130 mbps if you are using 802.11n. You will get about 54 mbps on 802.11g, though it depends on how close or how far you are away from your base station. If you want to check your speed, and your on mac go into the utilities foler and find network utility, then click on the info tab. In the drop-down menu look for (en1). In the link speed row your speed should be shown.
