Does the airport extreme need the airport express to give off Internet?

Answer
You need only one of Airport Express or Airport Extreme or Time Capsule in order to provide wireless connectivity within a typical family home. Whatever wireless base station you choose must be connected to your Internet router/cable modem/ADSL/whatever in order for wireless devices to connect to the Internet.
