could I use the ethernet connection for directtv on demand

instead of buying the wireless adapter for my direct tv dvr, could i use the ethernet connection on the airport extreme.

or, would I be just as well off to buy the wireless adapter and use the airport express?

  • Yes . I connected the ethernet cable directly and i can access the on demand but if you have a DVR you can"t share shows recorded from one room to another.
