Can it handle the apple tv and 2 MacBooks,2 iPhones,and 2 iPads plus xbox and wii?

Yes. If you connect the 2 Macbooks, iPhones, iPads and Wii via wifi, and the Apple TV and Xbox via ethernet, you'll still have one ethernet output left over.

Most routers can, this one for instance is an easy setup system. Just be mindful on how much Wi-Fi you utilize on any router. Plug in ethernets where capable.
