Can I put two external usb drives through a hub into the Airport Extreme, one for time machine and one for PC laptop?

  • No. This is NOT supported by Apple. If you get it to work, before long your backups will be corrupted, likely beyond repair. That's happened to me 4 times in a year!

    I can't post a link here, but go to Mac Help and look for "Disks that can be used with Time Machine."
