can i put music on a hard drive plugged into the airport extreme base station and listen to music ON MY MAC from the hard drive?
i dont want the music files actually ON MY MAC,, can i put them on my external hard drive that is plugged into the extreme base station and "map" to them from my itunes?
im looking to use a 500gb laptop external hard drive that is powered through the usb cable,, and all 4 of my family members want to "map" to all that music
and if laptops break down or get stolen, the music collection still remains flawless
thanks, jay
